When Sakura wakes up, she immediately walks over to her desk and examines the Song Card. Kero wakes up shortly after, and Sakura asks if new problems are occuring because of the newly transformed Clow Cards. Kero successfully changes Sakura's mood from concerned to cheerful again. With that, she leaves for school. Sakura arrives at school early and wonders what she can do with her time. Then she remembers that Touya mentioned having an early soccer practice, so she goes to observe. Sakura watches Touya and Yukito work together to score a goal.

Sakura arrives at school once again. Tomoyo walks with Sakura and discusses what happened the previous night. At the end of their conversation, Sakura and Tomoyo join their classmates for a small get-together. They eat some sweets made by Rika. Rika asks the group if she can do a bit of sewing. When the girls say that they dont mind, she pulls an almost finished bear out of her bag. Tomoyo goes on to explain her knowledge of plush bears. Syaoran overhears this while sitting in a nearby tree. When he falls out of the tree, he is caught by Eriol.

Before leaving the classroom to go home, Rika tells Sakura that she cannot accompany her to the craft store. When Rika sees that Mr. Terada has left the classroom, she quickly dashes to catch up with him. When Sakura asks Tomoyo if Rika finished her bear, she is caught off guard by Yamazaki who begins to tell a lie. After Sakura and Tomoyo listen to Yamazaki's lie, Eriol asks if he can tag along and go to the craft store. Upon hearing this, Syaoran runs over and invites himself to join them. Meanwhile, Rika is in the library with Mr. Terada. She shows him the bear that she has made, and he kindly accepts her offer of taking care of it.

Sakura, Tomoyo, Syaoran, and Eriol all go to the craft store. Sakura finds what she is looking for, and Eriol buys many spools of thread. "Are you going to sew something?" Sakura asks. "You can use thread for other things, too," Eriol replies. Although it is not revealed at the time, Syaoran purchases a bear-making kit as well. When Sakura arrives home, she begins to make her bear. Her bear doesnt look like a bear though... it looks like Kero! Sakura senses Clow Reed's prescence, so she meets Syaoran and Tomoyo in the park.

Kero begins to fight with Syaoran. After yelling back at Kero, he stops talking. Syaoran's eyes widen as his body begins to shake and move on its own. Syaoran begins to charge towards Sakura. "Sakura get out of the way," he shouts. Sakura steps backwards, but her outfit is grazed by his sword. "Get away from me!" he screams. Sakura refuses to leave him alone. She must find out what is controlling him! Syaoran summons the water element from his incantation card. The water swirls around him, and water droplets are caught on thread. Sakura transforms the Sword Card and cuts all of the thread controlling Syaoran's body. He falls to the ground. Sakura runs over to see if Syaoran is alright, but she falls asleep in his lap.

From the comfort of his living room, with a golden incantation circle around him, Eriol sits in his red chair. Dangling threads disappear from his finger tips. "You can use thread like this as well, Sakura," he says.
