Our episode begins with Sakura listening to the weather report in the kitchen. The report states that rain is only falling on Tomoeda City. Sakura begins to wonder why her Star Key wouldn't change into the Star Wand. A few moments later, Touya enters the kitchen. He sits down at the table and starts to read the paper. Sakura remembers what Cerberus said the night before and asks Touya if Yukito is coming over today. Touya says that they haven't made plans but he will invite him over for dinner.

At school, Sakura's friends look out the window and talk about how the rain doesn't seem to be stopping. When Naoko mentions something about it being supernatural Yamazaki begins to tell a lie. Sakura wonders how the rain can be supernatural when she has collected all of the Clow Cards. Eriol notices that Sakura is upset so he gives her a flower. At the sight of this, Syaoran sprints across the room to Sakura's desk and manages an aggressive, "OHAIYOU!"

Later after class Sakura tells Syaoran that her key wouldn't turn into the Star Wand. He suggests that maybe someone with more power than them is causing the rain. Meanwhile from Seijyo High, Touya spots Sakura talking to Syaoran while he and Yukito are walking down the hallway with printouts. Yukito then jokes around with Touya by saying that he has good eyes. However, Touya does not want to joke around. He begins to tell Yukito something seriously important, but then Nakuru interrupts.

Sakura begins to walk home from school alone under her umbrella until Eriol joins her. She thanks him for the flowers and then they go seperate ways. At the house, Touya and Yukito enjoy the meal that Sakura cooked for them. Then Touya heads off to work. Yukito stays to help clean up, but before he can do anything Kero talks to Yukito as if he is Yue and requests that he return to his original form.

Later Sakura, Tomoyo, Cerberus, and Yue go back to Penguin Park. Again, the rain begins to form into massive amounts and attacks Sakura. Yue picks Sakura up so that he can fly her to safety. Then the magic he uses to form a shield becomes voided. The water strikes him and slams him into a tree. Cerberus uses his fire breath, but it is sent back at him causing him to use his wings as a shield for himself and Tomoyo. Cerberus and Yue are no longer capable of moving and the water captures Sakura. While trapped in the water Sakura remembers what Clow said, "In that wand, resides a new power. Not of the sun or the moon, but a power of the stars just for you."

Sakura then creates a new chant. "The Key which hides powers of the Stars. Show your true form before me. I, Sakura, command you under our contract. Release!" The Star wand is finally brought forth! Sakura tries to use a Clow Card, but unfortunately it does not work. Then she realizes that since the wand has changed the card needs to be changed as well. "The card created by Clow, abandon your old form and reincarnate! Under the name of your new master, Sakura. Firey!" Sakura successfully changes the Firey Clow Card into a Star Card enabling it to be activated. Firey emerges and cancels out the water. With everyone now safe, Sakura starts to explain what happened, but she falls asleep due to exhaustion.
