Sakura is barely staying awake while raking up leaves. "I'm still sleepy..." Sakura sighs. "Shall I help out?" Eriol replies. (Eriol was on his way home from the grocery store when he spotted Sakura in trouble.) Even though she is a bit hesitant at first, Sakura kindly accepts his offer. Eriol holds the leave container steady as Sakura rakes the leaves in. Then when it is full he transfers the leaves from the container into a trash bag. Touya's bicycle is in Sakura's way so Eriol moves it for her. A few moments later, Fujitaka slides open the back door to tell Sakura that dinner is ready. She introduces her father to Eriol and invites him to stay for dinner. Eriol reminds her that he must return home to make dinner preparations. Upon saying this, Eriol leaves.

During dinner Fujitaka asks Sakura some questions about Eriol. Sakura wishes that he had stayed for dinner, but she understands why he couldn't. As they are eating dinner, Touya comes home from work for a little while because he has forgotten something. After seeing and feeling negative energy around his bicycle Touya asks Sakura if she had touched it. She explains to him that she had moved his bike when she was cleaning the yard. After he warns her not to ride it, he steals her last fried shrimp before leaving for work again.

After dinner, Sakura tells Kero that the Clow Cards aren't feeling like usual; they are cold. Kero explains to her that the Clow Cards will remain ordinary cards until they are transformed. Sakura becomes upset with this statement because she considers all of the cards her friends. Without thinking about the consequences, she summons her Star Wand and transforms the Sweet, Lock, Libra, Sand, Voice, Change, Wave, and Dash card each after the next. After being transformed, the Clow Cards float around Sakura and she becomes happy knowing that they are okay.

However, because Sakura transformed too many cards at once, the Dash card summoned itself due to her lack of control. When the Dash realizes that Sakura hasn't given it a command, it panicks and speeds away with Touya's bicycle. Later on, Sakura skates as fast as she can in order to catch up with the Dash to calm it down and seal it away. She transforms Windy hoping that it will be able to capture the Dash, but unfortunately, Windy is far too slow. Sakura then decides to call Tomoyo and Syaoran for backup. Tomoyo doesn't answer her phone, but Syaoran is able to. While on the phone, Sakura informs him that she is in trouble, and he agrees to meet her.

While waiting for her backup requests, Sakura summons the Jump card to help her out a bit. When she catches up to the bicycle, it speeds vertically up a building on a 90-degree angle. Sakura makes a jump for it, but misses and begins to fall. Just when things are starting to look bad, Syaoran shows up and saves her with his Wind incantation. After asking Sakura if she is okay, he then uses his Thunder incantation to try and stun the bicycle. Once again, the Dash escapes. When the bicycle is back on the ground Syaoran is about to use another incantation, but Sakura stops him. She explains to him that his magic is only frightening the card, and that she will try and calm it down.

Kero expresses to Sakura that the only way to catch up to Dash would be to corner it; therefore, it wouldn't be able to escape. That being said, Sakura transforms the Loop card. The bicycle tries to get away, but Loop is successful! The Dash tries to escape the bicycle by fleeing in spirit form, but Sakura catches it by quickly summoning Windy. After being placed into Sakura's arms, she manages to calm down Dash with an apology. Finally, the Dash returns to its card form.
