"Sakura wins a trip to Hong Kong and brings Tori, Julian, and Madison with her. They meet up with Li Showron, his cousin Meilin, and Li's beautiful mother, who immediately senses Sakura's powers. While sleeping, Sakura has a reoccuring dream that becomes increasingly vivid. Li's Mom reveals to Sakura that she is being summoned through her dreams, and warns Sakura to be cautious of evil spirits.

While in the marketplace, Sakura is lead into a bookstore where she meets the Sorceress Su Yung, who hates Clow Reed, the wizard who created the magical Clow Cards.
